Inside Sales/Customer Service Rep

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Priorities:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships of trust at all levels of the customer organization through open and interactive communication
  • Provide information about products and services
  • Generate sales leads
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Respond to request for quotes and provide lead times
  • Take orders, calculate charges, and process billing as necessary
  • Open new customer accounts
  • Review or make changes to customer accounts
  • Listen to customers' questions and concerns, and provide answers or responses
  • Handle returns and complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Review and select standard responses for answers or solutions
  • Record details of customer contacts and actions taken
  • Refer customers to supervisors or more experienced employees when needed
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers Position Consults with:
    • Sales and Marketing Department Team and Upper Management-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Customer/Client Focus
      • Problem Solving/Analysis
      • Results Driven
      • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
      • Track record of achieving quotas
      • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
      • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
      • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
