Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Financial Analyst (Level 2) to join its team of qualified, diverse individuals who support the FP&A team of our Strategic Force Programs (SFP) Business Unit in Azusa, CA.Roles and Responsibilities includes, but are not limited to the following:Create financial charts in support of program management and program reviewsSupport Planning and NCTA projects for long-range and annual operating plan, financial forecast development and analysis, funding, and financial reporting for the programsResponsible for accounting close activities and financial reportingParticipate in Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) process and quarterly reviewsLead monthly sales forecast for the operating unit (OU)Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) development and reporting for the OUPreparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts.Support ad-hoc financial modelling and requestsSupport financial tools implementation and training for the OUIdentify, make recommendations, and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency for the companyBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree & 2 years of finance, accounting, and/or EVMS (Earned Value Management System) experience, OR a Master's Degree & 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, and/or EVMS - OR - 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications to include intermediate experience with Excel (Charts, Pivot Tables and Basic Formulas)Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD (Department of Defense) Secret ClearanceU.S. Citizenship is requiredPreferred Qualifications:Active DoD Secret ClearanceEVMS ExperienceExperience with SAP, COGNOS (or similar financial planning tool), COBRA, and Power BI.AOP/LRSP ExperienceGAAP Accounting Experience including Balance Sheet/Income Statement analysisSalary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
