Payload and Ground Systems Division in Azusa, CA, is seeking an
Administrative Assistant Functional Support 2 to join our team of
qualified and diverse individuals. This position will support our
Pathways Engineering team. We are seeking someone with the ability
to report on-site daily, but we can accommodate periodic
teleworking based on business/program needs. The successful
candidate will be responsible for configuration management of
hardware, software technical data, and documents related to the
design, modification, manufacture, or sustainment of complex
embedded defense-related electronic systems. This includes
configuration management planning, process control, and execution
to manage design changes and updates to various system baselines.
The candidate will plan and coordinate the preparation of project
documentation, such as engineering drawings, production
specifications, and documents to ensure customer contract
requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation
required for each phase of the project, applying knowledge of
engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyzes proposed changes
in product design to determine the effect on the overall product
and system. Establishes CCB/ERB agenda and prepares for change
authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and
coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support,
manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Works
closely with engineering in the processing, review, approval, and
release of work products. BOM review and reconciliation are a must.
Reviews statement of work to ensure requirements are met.
Implements PROPs and Program CM Plan or Practice requirements.
Establishes and maintains records in Teamcenter and ISE PDM tools.
Collaborates with CM and DM team members daily. Strong teamwork and
communication are key. The candidate must have strong interpersonal
and communication (written/verbal) skills and is expected to
execute the configuration role in a fast-paced team environment.
