Job Description:
A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist II to
develop and improve computational pipelines for analyzing
large-scale genomic data.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain bioinformatics tools and pipelines for NGS
data analysis
Collaborate with clinical, research, and engineering teams to
implement solutions for genomic interpretation
Optimize existing pipelines for performance, accuracy, and
scalability
Required Qualifications
PhD in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer
Science, Statistics, Biophysics, Computational Biology, or related
field with at least 2 years of post-doctoral or industry
experience, or an MS degree with 4+ years of industry
experience
2+ years of experience in bioinformatics pipeline development and
data analysis
Experience in analyzing large and complex structured/unstructured
datasets under time constraints
Strong background in next-generation sequencing (NGS)
technologies
Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, R, or
Perl
