Job Description:
A company is looking for a Procedure Scheduler.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinates the scheduling of procedures and collaborates with
ancillary departments and families
Facilitates the completion of scheduling requests from physicians
using internal referral management systems
Acts as a backup to schedulers, managing telephone, referral, and
appointment scheduling tasks
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Experience in scheduling or patient access roles
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Ability to work with scheduling software and internal systems
Understanding of authorization processes for medical services
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in
healthcare administration is a plus
