Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector, Payload and Ground Systems
Division, Strategic Force Programs, Mission Payload Operating (MPS)
Unit has an opening for an Administrative Assistant-4 to join our
team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position reports
directly to the Director of the MPS Operating Unit.This role will
report on-site daily to our Azusa, CA campus.The selected candidate
should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high
expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team
settings across all levels:Provides direct support to multiple
directors, senior managers, and senior technical staff.Performs
office functions, including, but not limited to setting up and
maintaining files; arranging meetings and conferences; maintaining
supplies; managing multiple Outlook calendars; and receiving,
referring, or answering mail; managing distribution lists.Make
travel arrangements for international and domestic travel, prepares
expense reports, and maintains pertinent travel
documentation.Perform visitor coordination, arrangements, and serve
as visitor liaison.Reviews drafts and finished documents for
appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office
operations and established policies and procedures.Answer questions

procedures.Communicates with internal and external customers and
executives, professionally representing the corporation and
organization.Facilitates program & team meetings and engagements
(team meetings, program reviews, all-hands, town halls, customer
and supplier meetings, year-end team lunch, engagement activities,
supplier visits and customer visits).Collaborates with
administrative professionals in related organizations, as
appropriate.Demonstrates a wide and comprehensive acquaintance
with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of
the job and their practical application to complex problems and
situations ordinarily encountered.Operates independently to meet
requirements of leadership team and offers expertise to assist
other functions within organization.Assists in maintaining
organization's collaboration sites and activities.Assist with
overseeing office moves and support facility related
actions.Occasionally assist other Operating Units on campus.Assists
events and activities of major organization initiatives.Is a quick
learner and creative thinker, takes on assignments with a positive
and "can-do" attitude, and is driven to dive in and learn what is
needed to get the job done.The successful candidate will possess
the following:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with
minimal supervision while exercising good judgment, demonstrating
flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing
deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, and providing excellent
follow-through.Pro-active mindset, self-motivated, well organized
and detail oriented.Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.Ability to work with all levels of management, their
assistants, and staff.Basic Qualifications:Ability to obtain and
maintain a DOD Secret clearance (US Citizenship Required)Must have
a High School Diploma or GED AND 6+years of related administrative
assistant experience.Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Teams), with the ability to
manage multiple calendars, create and edit documents.Preferred
Qualifications:DOD Secret clearanceAA degreeExperience in aerospace
work settingExperience supporting at the director level or
higherSalary Range: $31 USD - $51 USDEmployees may be eligible for
a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
