Come be a part of our mission!Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Payload & Ground Systems, Strategic Force Programs in Azusa, CA, is seeking an innovative Principal (Level 3) or /Sr. Principal (Level 4) Systems Engineer to support our NGP program. This role will report on-site daily. We can accommodate partial telework, but this is dependent upon business/program/team need.What you'll get to do:--- Provide input for and review of System-level CDRLs; OpsCon, SSDD, SDD, and System Architecture Model. Attend System team meetings; Architecture Working Group, CONOPS Working Group, Ground coordination, and pop-up meetings addressing Architecture and/or OpsCon concerns--- Support Chief Architect in the development of the Ground CDRLs SDD and SAD for PDR and CDR deliveries--- Assist Chief Architect with providing Ground Engineering teams guidance in developing the artifacts comprising the Ground architecture description including assist in running on-going meetings to review engineering drafts, assist with providing style guidance and developing modeling conventions, and providing tool support when necessary--- Assist Chief Architect with the configuration management process of the architecture and metrics collection and reportingBasic Qualifications: Principal+ Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field & 5+ years of related systems engineering experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field & 3+ years of related systems engineering experience+ Current & active DoD secret security clearanceBasic Qualifications: Sr. Principal+ Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field & 9+ years of related systems engineering experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field & 7+ years of related systems engineering experience+ Current & active DoD secret security clearanceSalary Range: $104,600.00 - $157,000.00Salary Range 2: $129,700.00 - $194,500.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
