In this job, you will be working in the Government and Institutions Management team to achieve Clean Pathway program goals and objectives. The Specialist routinely interacts with customers at the direction of the Federal and/or State Key Accounts Senior Advisors to assess their business needs and requirements, and identifies company products, services, and/or innovative solutions to address their needs.As a **Specialist** , your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?**A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!**+ Establish and maintain business relationships with Federal and State key accounts through mostly telephone-based interactions, often routine in nature, at mid and operating levels of the customers organization.+ Proactively assist with implementing operational solutions to routine customer related requests, sometimes of a political or sensitive nature and without an established precedent.+ Assess when to personally resolve or direct work of internal resources for issue resolution across organization units and be accountable for outcomes and deliverables.+ Maintain routine internal contact with Central Support staff, internal SCE resources and with direct manager to provide updates on Federal and State customers and discuss market factors and customer interactions.+ Maintain up-to-date records involving customer interactions, issuance of tickets and other means of work assignments, including customer profiles and other account management reporting activities.**Qualifications****The essentials**+ Three (3) or more years of experience with customer engagement, customer service, sales and/or business development.+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.**The preferred**+ Bachelors degree or higher.+ Experience with SAP or similar enterprise-wide system.+ Experience developing and implementing sales plans, presenting ideas and information to large groups and/or difficult or sophisticated internal/external audiences, and influencing decision makers.+ Experience with non-residential customers, ideally federal and state customers.+ Working knowledge of Energy Efficiency, Demand Response, and/or Electrification related programs.+ Ability to integrate work and collaborate across relevant areas, resolve customer issues to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, and possess good judgment and decisions making skills to prioritize work, and manage information.**You should know **+ **Work Mode:** When a return-to-office date has been determined, this positions work mode is **hybrid** . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.
