Explore your future and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer/Systems Engineer (level 1/2). This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Azusa, CA.The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Payload and Ground Systems.Roles and Responsibilities - Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Basic Qualifications for Associate Systems Engineer (Level 1):A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
    • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
    • Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related field
    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
    • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Basic Qualifications for Systems Engineer (Level 2):A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
      • Be completing or has completed their Master's Degree from an accredited institution.
      • Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related field
      • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
      • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Preferred Qualifications for both levels:
        • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higherSalary Range: 66900 - 100300Salary Range 2: 81700 - 122500Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
