Job Description Job Description Capital Markets Associate Attorney Location: Los Angeles, CA Experience: 2–6 Years Compensation: $250,000 – $400,000 Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join its dynamic and nationally recognized Corporate Practice in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on high-profile transactions alongside a global team of legal professionals. Key Responsibilities: Advise on complex U.S. and cross-border capital markets transactions. Handle initial public offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings, and private placements. Work with clients such as public and private issuers, underwriters, financial institutions, venture capital funds, hedge funds, and private investment firms. Collaborate on securities offerings including SPACs, REITs, PIPEs, ATMs, and Regulation S offerings. Requirements: 2–6 years of experience in Capital Markets or Corporate transactions. Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills. Ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Admission to the California Bar Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in U.S. securities law and regulatory matters.
