Software (Level 2) or Principal Engineer Software (Level 3) to join

located on-site in Azusa, CA.

Essential Functions: Apply systems thinking to ensure developed
products are scalable, maintainable, and meet end-user needs.

subject matter experts and collaborative team setting.
Basic Qualifications (Level 2): Bachelor's Degree in a STEM
(Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
preferred from an accredited university and 2+ years of related
experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM field
Experience developing software with Python or JavaScript
Experience with graphical user interfaces (GUI) design and
development
Experience with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) or Front-End web
design and development
Experience with reading and interpreting software requirement
specifications to write code that meets requirement
Experience developing software in Unix or Linux Environment
Experience supporting Satellite Missions Operations or Operations
Automation
A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security
clearance

preferred from an accredited university and 5+ years of related
experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM field and 3+ years of
related experience.
Experience developing software with Python or JavaScript
Experience with graphical user interfaces (GUI) design and
development
Experience with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) or Front-End web
design and development
Experience with reading and interpreting software requirement
specifications to write code that meets requirement
Experience developing software in Unix or LINUX Environment
Experience supporting Satellite Missions Operations or Operations
Automation
A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security
clearance
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in a STEM discipline
preferred from an accredited university and 1+ years of related
experience.
Experience with AstroUX graphical user interfaces (GUI).
Familiarity with version control software and Atlassian tools. i.e.
Git, Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence.
Experience writing and executing test procedures in support of unit
and integration test
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with
technical teams and government customer personnel.
Experience analyzing complex problems and developing solutions
based on limited direction and definition.
Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project
goals.
A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD TS/SCI security
clearance.
Salary Range: $82,400 USD - $123,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $101,400 USD - $152,200 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays
and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
