Job Description Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of DonatechUS Citizenship OnlyCandidate will design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. They will collaborate with equipment designers, other software engineers, and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. The individual will ensure software standards are met.Candidate will develop state of health (SOH), radiometric, and line-of site tools in support of thermal vacuum testing and launch and early orbit testing for an exciting new space base payload demonstration. Candidate will also develop a telemetry gap checker (check for dropped packets and frames), SOH checker (process SOH and alarms), telemetry parser (XTCE files), image parser (Demux, Rice decompression, file transfer, read files, store image files), and parameter plotter. Candidate must have experience with C++, MatLab, and Python. Other helpful skills would include, Java programming, knowledge of telemetry, tracking, and command (TT), experience with embedded software, and ability to work with binary I/O.
