currently seeking an HR Business Partner 3/4 to provide support to
our Strategic Force Programs Business Unit (BU) and employee teams
across our sites. The position is based out of our Azusa, CA site
and travel, as needed, to support our business and team. The HR
Business Partner 3/4 will provide customer group support directly
to our Engineering organization.As an HR Business Partner, you will
work in partnership with the HR Manager and Director to drive
strategic human capital plans that support BU and division goals,
and provide HR guidance and counsel to leaders, managers,
employees, and peer team members. The selected candidate will
collaborate with the business to develop and implement solutions
and deliver exceptional HR support in a challenging, dynamic, and
supportive and development-oriented business environment. Key
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Serving as a strategic business partner and consultant to
internal customers and stakeholders. Establishing a solid
understanding of the business, building and expanding
relationships, and creating close partnerships across HR centers of
excellence (COE's).
- Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within the
organization. Providing business insight through data analytics,
researching and benchmarking to inform, develop, and implement
solutions in partnership with leadership.
- Playing a key change leadership role in the company's
transformation by reinforcing a culture of growth and innovation.
Leading or supporting change projects to evolve organizational
capability and improve our operating model. Recommending solutions
to enable business growth and/or support business integration.
- Diagnosing organizational needs and developing practical,
creative and/or innovative solutions to increase team and
organizational performance and advance the business strategy.
Effectively implementing and sustaining solutions by leveraging
change management best practices.
- Performing complex and comprehensive investigations and
developing organizational actions in partnership with
leadership.
- Supporting and partnering with HR colleagues in operations,
talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations,
diversity and inclusion and organizational effectiveness to support
talent strategies.
- Facilitating leadership development focused on comprehensive
succession planning and strategic leadership movement.
Collaborating with business leaders to build leadership depth and
address critical roles/skills needs. Coaching leadership and HR
team on employee development plans and development resources.
- Analyzing and concisely presenting information to the
management team (survey data, attrition, compensation, etc.) to
enable business growth and sound decision making.
- Supporting and enabling leaders to make informed decisions
about talent and to hold their organizations accountable for
business results.
- Collaborating with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and
leadership to support diversity, equality, and inclusion and social

9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day
Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic
Qualifications: This requisition may be filled at either a level 3
or a level 4. Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Labor Relations, Business
or related field with 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist
experience including experience implementing HR programs and
processes preferably in a manufacturing and / or engineering
environment - OR - a Master's degree with 3+ years of the required
experience. Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Labor Relations, Business
or related field with 9+ years of strong progressive HR Generalist
experience including experience implementing HR programs and
processes preferably in a manufacturing and / or engineering
environment - OR - a Master's degree with 7+ years of the required
experience.Additional Basic qualifications for both levels:
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional HR projects and
understanding and application of project management and change
management fundamentals, including organizing, planning,
presenting, and executing concurrent projects and tasks. Ability to
escalate issues and obtain additional resources when
necessary.
- Strong consulting skills and ability to solve business
challenges. Experience analyzing data to define the root
cause.
- Experience designing practical, creative and/or innovative
solutions, and ensure effective implementation of solutions.
- Passion to achieve results and uphold commitments, work
independently and as part of a team, continuously learn, focus on
continuous improvement, and manage multiple and competing
priorities. Team player that communicates effectively with all
levels of leadership and employees.
- Experience consulting with leaders on succession planning,
culture and engagement, change management, managing performance,
and maintaining positive employee relations.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills; proven
track record of building collaborative partnerships as the basis
for being able to influence direction and drive change demonstrated
ability to effectively communicate with and influence others.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel to support internal customers.
- US Citizenship.Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR (SHRM-CP) or SPHR (SHRM-SCP) certification.
- Experience in a matrix organization with a large customer group
(500-1000).
- Experience in the aerospace & defense industry. Salary Range:
$83,800 USD - $125,800 USD Salary Range 2: $103,900 USD - $155,900
USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
