Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Redlands, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,252 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/7/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; First timers considered with 3 years of experience. License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Inpatient experience - Starting and maintaining IVs - Experience in Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), ERCP, EGD - Administering Conscious Sedation - Pre-operative assessment and care Description: Join our team as an Endoscopy Registered Nurse. You will provide pre-operative duties, including reviewing checklists and obtaining patient consent. Perform assessments, including "head to toe" evaluations. Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) is a common procedure performed. The RN will have responsibilities for procedural sedation during TEE procedures. Rotating on-call is required. Shifts typically run from 0700 to 1730, with potential variations per department needs. A team of 2-3 RNs is scheduled based on case loads. Scrubs will be provided. Documentation is done using Meditech Expanse. Communication will follow SBAR protocols. Provider support includes interpretation services, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and rapid response teams. Coverage includes Specialists such as Intensivist, Hospitalist, and Anesthesiologist, available 24/7. Previous experience with pediatric endoscopy and bronchoscopy supplies is preferred. You should possess skills in specimen handling, monitoring conscious sedation, and managing dysrhythmias. Your role will focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
