Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time Occupational Therapist position is based in Los Angeles, CA, serving multiple school sites on a contract basis. The role involves working collaboratively with an additional OT to support students across eight school locations, covering a maternity leave starting in January with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students within the school environment. Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with SEIS requirements. Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement therapy plans that enhance student participation and success. Maintain documentation and assist with progress reporting as mandated by school policies. Qualifications and Experience: Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Proven experience working in school settings, demonstrating strong knowledge of school-based OT. Familiarity and expertise in SEIS and IEP processes. Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, with flexible hours ranging from 7:35 AM to 3:20 PM depending on the school site. Availability to provide in-person services exclusively. Candidates must be Occupational Therapists; Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) will not be considered. Location: Multiple school sites within Los Angeles, CA.
