Join our dynamic team at Sports Physical Therapy (SPT) as a Physical Therapist Assistant and be part of a pioneering healthcare facility dedicated to athletic rehabilitative care and performance enhancement. As a key member of our team, you'll assist in implementing therapy plans designed by our physical therapists, contributing directly to the recovery and well-being of our patients. Assist physical therapists in the development and application of treatment plans. Perform routine follow-up patient care, including therapeutic exercises and using specialized equipment. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed under the guidance of a physical therapist. Educate patients and their families about post-therapy care and wellness maintenance. Ensure equipment maintenance and adherence to safety regulations within the clinic. Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, particularly in a sports context. Proficiency in using physical therapy tools and equipment. Excellent communication and empathy skills. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and stand for prolonged periods. 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license.
