About The Position Our client is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic team in California, starting Aug 4, 2025. This full-time role focuses on providing surgical assistance for orthopedic procedures, including hips and knees, with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. The assignment is set for 80 days, offering an excellent opportunity to enhance surgical skills in a supportive environment. Job Details - Location: California - Start Date: Aug 4, 2025 - LOA: 80 days - Provider Type Needed: Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm Responsibilities and Duties - Assist in orthopedic surgeries, focusing on hips, knees, and dislocations - Provide support in pre-operative and post-operative care - Work closely with orthopedic surgeons to ensure comprehensive patient care - Participate in 3-4 surgical days per week, with 1 day allocated to clinic duties - Utilize EMR system (Cerner) for documenting patient care Additional Information - Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) - Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - Applicants must have recent and consistent experience in orthopedics, particularly in surgical settings Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
