Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager, Accounting to oversee
accounting operations and manage a team of accountants.
Key Responsibilities
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes, ensuring
timelines are met
Supervise and train staff and senior accountants while processing
financial transactions in General Ledgers
Ensure compliance with SOX, support audits, and prepare financial
reporting packages for management
Required Qualifications
5+ years of public accounting or 8+ years of private industry
accounting experience with prior management experience
Thorough understanding of US GAAP principles and SOX internal
control environments
Bachelor's degree in accounting with an active CPA license strongly
preferred
Ability to handle ambiguity and engage with multi-level staff
Prior experience in managed care industry and corporate accounting
preferred
