Job Description:
A company is looking for a Category Manager, Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
Manage clinical and research laboratory spend categories, focusing
on cost reduction and contract optimization
Lead the Sourcing/RFP/Proposal/Contracting process and maintain the
integrity of Category contracts
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive
strategic initiatives and supplier performance metrics
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in science, healthcare, or
business-related field
3 years of experience in contract administration, purchasing, or
sourcing with a Bachelor's Degree or 1 year with a Master's
Degree
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and
Word
Must obtain Certified Texas Purchasing Manager or Certified Texas
Contract Developer certification within 1.5 years
Healthcare-related experience is strongly preferred
