Come be a part of our mission!SFP (Strategic Force Programs) in Azusa, CA is seeking a staff (Level 5) technical project manager Electronics Engineer with Overhead Persistence Infrared (OPIR) or equivalent product delivery experience. The ideal candidate should have circuit, PCB and CCA design expert with anomaly resolution experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The individual will support the supplier subcontracts manager on all technical related issues including help lead supplier anomaly resolution and troubleshooting. This position will report to the manager of Electrical Systems and will split between Azusa, CA and Boulder, Co. The role will require a minimum of three days on-site at supplier Co facility. The successful applicant will be the liaison between supplier technical team, subcontract manager and Program Management Office (PMO). Candidate will need to demonstrate ability to lead failure investigations and anomaly resolution and have prior experience with circuit design including PCB and CCA design and ability to read schematics. Responsibilities will include driving supplier analysis of circuit design, modeling, simulation, design verification test, failure investigation, and anomaly resolution. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment is required. Focus areas include supporting supplier technical team to resolve technical issues and meet program milestones. Other responsibilities may include trade studies and troubleshooting to support anomaly resolution during integration and test. Additional responsibilities commensurate of individual performance and organizational needs. Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field and 14 years or related electronics engineering experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field & 12 years of related electronics engineering experience
  • Prior subcontracts management experience
  • Circuit design, modeling, simulation, design verification test, failure investigation, and anomaly resolution experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship Required) Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master's degree or higher with 12 years of related electronics engineering experience
    • Design experience within Space and/or Aerospace industry
    • Experience with High-Speed digital and optical design
    • Active Secret (or higher) Clearance Salary Range: $156,000 USD - $234,000 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
