Welder Specialist - Metal Fabricator – Manufacturing Job Description Pridestaff, a national staffing company, is seeking an experienced Welder Specialist, Metal Fabricator to perform welding and fabricating duties in accordance to company standards. We are looking for someone with Tig welding experience. The Welder, Metal Fabricator position is a temporary to permanent position with our client. Welder Specialist - Metal Fabricator – Manufacturing Job Responsibilities As a Welder Specialist, you will operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding. You will be responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. In this role you will also lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. The welder will also be responsible for examining work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. Additional responsibilities for the Welder Specialist will include: • Ability to weld beams and frames made from metal. • Read and understand schematics and understanding minimal blueprints • Weld specialty items. • Maintaining a clean welding environment Welder Specialist - Metal Fabricator – Manufacturing
