Grumman Space Systems sector is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in
Electrical Design and Integration (Level 3 or 4) to join our team
of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in
Azusa, CA. This position will be on a hybrid schedule where most of
the work will be done on-site, but we can accommodate teleworking
upon business/program need. The successful applicant will perform
design and analysis of Electrical Systems required for the Payload
Ground Systems division . Responsibilities will include
requirements analysis and decomposition, subsystem and circuit
design, integration, and verification test. Strong written and
verbal communication skills and ability to work independently yet
collaboratively in a team environment is required. The successful
candidate must have the ability to define and review electrical
interface designs, perform signal integrity analysis within a unit
and between units and coordinate with multi-discipline functional
organizations to ensure product reliability and requirements are
met. The candidate will also need to have prior experience with the
development of Interface Control Documents (ICDs), electrical
subsystem development, system architecture, and test development
(hardware and/or software testing of subsystems and components).
The position also requires working knowledge of protocols such as
MIL-STD-1553, SpaceWire, and SRIO, and prior experience with
circuit simulation and power integrity software tools.Other
responsibilities may include wiring and interconnect diagrams
design, power consumption and estimation, and ability to lead
technical teams and oversee complex issues, including
troubleshooting, to support anomaly resolution during integration
and test. Additional responsibilities may be assigned commensurate
with performance and/or due to business needs. Basic
