Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) opportunity is available to provide hands-on behavioral support to elementary students in a K-12 school setting in Wilmington, DE. This contract position focuses on working within general education classrooms to address and manage aggressive behaviors among students. The role requires active participation in life-skills support, including self-care and toileting assistance, requiring a compassionate and patient approach. Key Responsibilities: Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision to support students exhibiting aggressive behaviors. Collaborate with educational staff to create a safe and supportive classroom environment. Assist students with functional life skills such as toileting and self-care routines. Track data and progress related to behavioral goals. Communicate effectively with team members regarding student needs and interventions. Qualifications and Experience: Must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or have previously held certification (verification snapshot required). Demonstrated school-based experience supporting students with aggressive behaviors in an elementary school setting. Ability and comfort in providing direct support for self-care and toileting needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Dependable transportation and reliable attendance are essential. Position Details: Location: Wilmington, DE Schools: Multiple elementary schools serving K-12 populations. Contract duration: Current school year through June 12, 2026. Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM (37.5 hours per week).
